Green Bay Packers Alternate Uniform

Since tonight marks th beginning of the 2011 NFL season, and the Green Bay Packers are taking part, I thought it would be appropriate to dream up some new duds for the occasion.

Houston Texans Concept Helmet, Version 2

I noticed that my last three designs were all from the AFC South. This wasn't intentional. But, in keeping with that theme I decided to break out another Houston Texans concept design. This is the seldom seen alternate logo of the Texans. It's probably seldom seen because it's not very good, in my opinion. But, bad logo or not, I'd like to see a white helmet paired with their alternate red jersey/white pant combination.

Denver Broncos Concept Helmets

With the announcement that Denver is changing their orange jerseys from alternate to primary status, here are a couple of ideas to go along with that switch. I think a white helmet would compliment the orange jersey better than their current navy headgear.

The top design is the old colors with an adaptation of an even older logo. The second is the old logo with current colors.

Minnesota Vikings Concept Helmet

What is there not to like about the current Vikings helmet? Nothing really. Some may prefer a different color scheme, but the design itself is simple and iconic. With that, attempting a redesign of something that is nearly flawless is a challenge.

This logo is an adaptation of the Vikings anniversary logo. The white shell minimizes the purple, obviously, and brings the gold into a more dominant position. This would look good with a gold alternate jersey and white pants.

Arizona Cardinals Concept Helmet

The Arizona Cardinals began sporting a black alternate jersey during the 2010 season. However, their regular helmets didn't quite coordinate with the new threads. Here, I've gone with the classic wing design on a black background. Of course, this helmet design wouldn't match their regular uniforms very well. But I'm sure it's just a matter of time before the NFL unveils alternate helmets to go along with alternate jerseys.
